2012 Pictures....our school pictures

The past couple of years, I haven't been happy with the pictures that are taken at school. So I dencided to start taking my own school pictures of the boys.

We always try to have some fun with pictures.  The sily ones are always my favorites!

1st Day of School

 Jared got sick on the 1st day of school. So he spent his 1st day of kindergarden on the couch.

 Jacob started 7th Grade at Desert Ridge Jr High.  Tyler started 5th Grade and Aaron in 2nd Grade both at Boulder Creek Elementary.  Jared was better on the 2nd day of school.  So we snapped a picture of his official 1st day.

Before School Starts Fun....

End of July we took one last fun trip before school starts.....I took the boys to our favorite Mesa Museum, to see the dinosaurs and pan for gold.  It is always a fun day to go to the museum, even though we have been there tons of times.



It always comes in 3's.....

It has always been said that bad things come in 3's. #1 was the toilet water main in the hallway bath burst in early June and soaked the carpets in both boys' rooms, the hallway and the living room.  #2 Aaron broke his arm, enough said.  Well we got our 3rd.  The A/C unit overflowed from a clog in the line and dripped through into our living room.  Luckily we caught it as it started coming through the drywall and it didn't damage the carpet.  It was an easy fix except for the drywall mess, which Joe is still working on completing.  In all it gives us a good reason to re-paint!

Aaron Gets His Cast Off

Lucky for Aaron, he only had to wear his cast for 3 weeks.  That left 2 days to go swimming at the local pool before it closed for the summer.  We went from the Doctor's office to the pool that day.  It's nice to have his arm healed and Aaron back to normal.  He was told no hand stands for at least 1 month...we'll see how long that lasts!



Jared's 5th Birthday

Jared turned 5 years old on July 15th.  We celebrated with a party at Peter Piper Pizza.  We invited cousins and the Asay Family (our good friends). 

It was a fun time for all.  Happy Birthday Jared!

4th of July

I can't believe how far behind I have gotten on my blogging.  Luckily I am now only 14 days behind, instead of a couple of months.  I finally got all the pictures off my cell phone and compiled them on my computer and figured out just what was missing.  I actually took pictures this year because we did something different for the 4th than we have been doing for the past few years.  We did not go up to the cabin, as has become tradition.  My work schedule just didn't permit it this year, so we went to the Diamondbacks Baseball game instead.  It was a lot of fun.  We watched a fun baseball game in great seats, ate lots of junk and watched a great fireworks show.  Here are some pictures that were taken while we were there....

Aaron's best month....EVER

Aaron decided to make June the best month ever for him and our family.  We were smooth sailing along, planning to have his tonsils/adnoids out at the end of the month, when bam out of no where Aaron decided to add a bit more excitement.  On Tuesday, June 26th 2 days before his surgery he broke his left arm. 

It occured at Christine's house.  Aaron was in a jumping contest with his cousin, Garrett.  They were jumping on an exercise ball that is cut in half and on a base so it doesn't roll.  Aaron jumped the highest and landed on his arm causing a buckle break just above the left wrist.  He will be in a cast for 3 weeks.

Then on Thursday, June 28th Aaron went in for his tonsils/adnoids surgery.  He did great.  Was a good patient.  We have been keeping him still with the aid of medication.  He is feeling better each day. 

BEWARE...we took before and after pictures of his throat.....kinda gross but also very cool!
